Macross Frontier – Episode 25 “Your Sound” Review [7/10]
Because I took a hiatus from watching anime (not by choice), I’m glad to have finally managed to finish this series with fair appreciation. (It took me a while to adjust from just experiencing the roller-coaster ride of episodes 20-25 of Code Geass.)
The ending was to my satisfaction (as I was not expecting much), but perhaps it could have been better.

No significant deaths, aside from the villain, and actually acquiring the cooperation of the Vajra (this was a surprise) made this episode an epic battle but a safe finale. Even more so with Ranka curing Sheryl’s disease, and the non-conclusion of the Ranka-Alto-Sheryl love triangle (this one I approve of because I personally don’t care who Alto ends up with). The Ranka-and-Sheryl duet towards the end was a nice touch.
