Dropped Dragonaut & Night Wizard

I have finally decided to drop Dragonaut and Night Wizard because after watching their fourth episodes, they do not seem to be worth my time. Dragonaut was just too disappointing and Night Wizard too bland.

So… Sayonara Dragonaut! Sayonara Night Wizard! :D

Dragonaut - The Resonance

The term “Dragonaut” sounded somewhat cool so I decided to check it out. It started off pretty okay with some potential, but at the end of the second episode, the coolness-level really dropped (and it wasn’t even high to begin with). The animation of the dragons – they did it in CG – were just lame. It really wasn’t consistent with everything else, which were doing pretty well in 2D. Why couldn’t they just do it in 2D? Grr.

If it weren’t for my interest and curiosity in the story, I would have dropped this series. The story centers on Jin and his encounter with a mysterious pink-haired girl named Toa. Due to her pink hair or my biases against the color, I thought she would be yet another helpless character. But then, I saw her fight and actually found her a bit cool. In fact, she is currently the only character I’m interested in in this anime.
